Russia takes the Crimean Peninsula from the Ukraine. Relations between Cuba and the USA worsen. Riots in Hong Kong and other areas of China wanting independence. All these things led to World War III but the tipping point, the one event that really sparked the greatest battle that humanity will ever see, was a single event on the Korean Peninsula. Two South Korean soldiers were injured while in the DMZ. This horrific event made South Korea begin to play Anti-North Propaganda daily and the North to open fire on the the city of Yeoncheon in South Korea. But, unlike in our timeline where the two leaders met and made peace, the missiles sent from the North were seen as an act of war and a clear end to the armistice agreed upon in 1953 and the beginning of a new World War, much more disastrous than its predecessors.

2015.75

North Korea begins an invasion of the South, firing missiles at the border and preparing to launch the few nuclear weapons they possess. South Korea sets up anti-aircraft weaponry near the demilitarized zone and are aided by the USA & Japanese forces stationed there.

Chinese leaders discuss whether or not they should aid their ally. If they do they could possibly keep the buffer zone that is North Korea but at the same time ostracize themselves from the rest of the world and their most important trade partner, the United States.

With the rest of the world focusing on the Far East Russia continues its expansion by invading Georgia, claiming that it has become too Western and must be punished.

2016.00 (Final Quarter of 2015)

South Korea, along with help from its allies, makes major advances against the Northern army and liberated some small towns on the borders of North Korea and the city of Kaesong. China has still yet to state whether or not it will be joining the conflict and aiding North Korea.

Russia is able to take small breakaway regions from Georgia but is unable to take the whole country at the moment. The European Union looks down upon Russian's expansion and many nations in the organization begin placing sanctions on Russia.

American journalists claim that these three events (Russian expansion, the resuming of the Korean War, and the rise of the Two Swords in the Middle-East) have begun WWIII.

2016.25

The war in North Korea officially ends thanks to the combined South Korean-Japanese-American Coalition and the Russians invading from the North. The provinces of Rason and North Hamgyong fall to Russia while the remaining eleven are divided between the coalition and are planned to become officially a part of the Republic of Korea within a few months.

China becomes weary of the sudden influx of pro-democratic troops on its border but continues to stay quiet about the situation.

Abkhazia and South Ossetia officially declare their independence from Georgia and operate as Pro-Russian states. The EU and USA begins to supply Georgia with more units in order to prevent any more land from being lost.

The expansion of the Two Swords continues with most of Syria falling under their control.

2016.50

Russia aggression continues against the Ukraine and Georgia leading to many anti-Russian protests throughout Western Europe. Germany is forced to make a difficult decision: Declare war on Russia or watch as more and more of its navy is destroyed.

The Republic of Korea slowly begins to annex provinces that were once a part of North Korea.

Uprisings begin in the province of Xinjiang in China thanks to the Two Sword's propaganda. The riots are quickly put down by the Chinese and USA forces but it shows just how far the Two Sword's deadly influence can reach. President Obama and President Xi as well as the EU agree to start a bombing campaign on key areas in Syria in order to halt the Two Sword's progression.

Belarus receives land from Lithuania and further aligns itself with Russia. In response to this every member of the EU (with a few exceptions) place sanctions on Belarus and do not recognize its new land claim.

Georgia surrenders to the advancing Russians, forcing America to withdraw from the small country and fortify the borders of the next potential targets of the new Russian Empire.

The Republic of Korea incorporates nearly all the mainland South of the Yalu and Tumen rivers save for the areas still under Russian control.

2017 (Final Quarter of 2016)

The USA (and all of NATO), China, Japan, Korea, Germany, the UK, the Ukraine, and Mongolia are forced to declare war on the Russia and Belarus. Russia's place in the UN Security Council is decidedly suspended until the end of the conflict.

Citizens in Russian occupied Korea begin to rebel and fight against the Russians using Guerrilla tactics and help to prevent further advancement into the Korean Peninsula.

The Two Swords continue to expand with the Chinese and Americans continuing their condemnation of the Islamic State.

The Canadian Civil War continues without much response from the rest of the world, even the Great White North's closest ally: The United States.

2017.25

Russians loses a great amount of land in the Far East Federal District. The Sakhalin Oblast falls to Japan. Parts of South Kamchatka Krai are taken by the USA. The Jewish Autonomous Oblast chooses to stand with the invading nations rather than be destroyed and declares its independence. And finally the Amur Oblast and Primorsky Krai are invaded by China and quickly occupied with Rason and North Hamgyong being returned to the Republic of Korea. For the first time in WWIII Russia is forced to be on the defensive.

Massive riots occur in Canada and many innocent civilians are killed due to the civil war. Newfoundland & Labrador join in the war by aiding Quebec.

The Kaliningrad Oblast is stormed by the EU and placed under German administrative control. Meanwhile France, Germany, and the UK begin massive bombings of Belarus.

Russia is forced to defend the Far East Federal Districts and ends up losing a lot of land in Siberia to the Anti-Russian coalition which is made up of 50,000 American soldiers, 1.2 million Korean soldiers, 2.33 million Chinese soldiers, and 200,000 Japanese soldiers.

Belarus begins losing ground in occupied territory but quickly puts down any rebellion in these areas resulting in heavy civilian casualties.

A force of 200,000 British and French soldiers aid Germany in protecting Königsberg and pushing back the Belarusian forces.

The Canadian Civil War continues with no end in sight.

Armenia, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan pledge their allegiance to Russia and join in the war.

Putin's assassination becomes well known throughout the free world and many nations begin rejoicing at the death of the "tyrant". Shortly after the late president's death riots began in some parts of Russia (particularly the East) despite the government having assigned interim leaders (riots will last for two turns).

Canada and Quebec agree on an armistice with the Gaspe and Southern Quebec (except for Montreal) falling to the Canadians.

With Russia pulling out of the Far-East Federal Districts the area quickly becomes overun with Anti-Russian Coalition soldiers. The USA takes Kamchatka and slowly begins to withdraw from Eastern Russia in order to aid the Europeans.

Poland joins the Anti-Russian Coalition as they fight against the Russian Federation & their allies in the Kalingrad Oblast, Latvia, Lithuania, the Ukraine, and Central Asia.

A Note from the Head Mod: To the person playing Bulgaria, you may not of seen my response but you can have up to 1.5 million troops but no more than that.

Poland:Mass propaganda takes place across the country, encouraging our people for the war. Forced assimilation efforts of the minorities continue with much success,thanks to the Propaganda Ministry coordinating its efforts. Efforts to improve our industry and make our country more competitive continue with much success. Army's administration is now very loyal and very effective, thanks to the reorganization of the army's administration. As we are in war with the Russian Coalition, we convert our economy to war economy, we also secretly send military aid to the Quebecans hoping to reignite the Canadian civil war. We open a new front in Belarus in the Polish-Belarus border by invading Belorussia as soon as we get a positive answer to join the anti-Russian coalition, with the soldiers deployed in the Polish-German border being redeployed in the Polish-Belarus border, we launch the attack with around 10,000,000 soldiers fighting against the Russian Coalition in the new front, we also offer every member of the anti-Russian coalition military access. We ask the USA, China, Germany, UK, and France (Mod Response for UK,France) help to improve our army, also ask them to aid us by deploying soldiers in our front in the Polish-Belarus borders, in order to launch an attack heading straight for Moscow and St.Petersburg, to end the Russian menace.

Lithuanian Rebels: (or Baltic rebels in general next turn, if I may) After sucessful assassination of Vladimir Putin, many passive supporters of Lithuanian Freedom Movement take up arms and begin sabotaging enemy forces. Weapons are brought in from abroad, many contact spies are sent to Poland and other allied countries to gain more supplies and support. We cooperate with Latvian and Estonian rebels in destroying and stealing supplies from belarussian forces, especially focusing on areas between Minks and Riga where many railroad lines are destroyed. Assaults are organised to prevent the damage from being repaired but to keep casualties low, all units use hit-and-run tactics rather than last-stand fighting. Whenever enemy forces move in to engage our units we use our advantage in mobility and knowledge of the areas to evade the big battle instead causing minor damage and possibly cutting supplies off of the bulk of enemy forces. Snipers are constantly working in Vilnius to terorize enemy High Command and their guard units, most belarussian administrational building are subject to constant harasment by explosive specialists working in Vilnius.

This is not, however, officially supported by main Lithuanian government, which is secretly preparing small army to help rebels after the new year. For now it is crucial to keep supplies coming through Klaipeda. We request Germany to invade Latvia in cooperation with us.

2018.00 (Final Quarter of 2017)

Well, there wasn't supposed be a turn today but basically ... More war & Casualties in Europe. Two Swords violence increases. Lots and lots and lots of deaths.

Belarus: President Lukashenko addresses the nation, stating that there is a national emergency and that able-bodied men will be temporarily drafted into the armed forces to defend the motherland from foreign aggression, raising its strength to 1.5 million. Of these, 500,000 are deployed in the western regions, close to the Polish border, 500,000 in the Baltic States, 500,000 are sent into Kaliningrad. The force attacking Kaliningrad is aided by 60 aircraft. In the Baltic States, we begin anti-partisan operations, using local informers to find out where rebels are hiding and attacking their hideouts. Lithuanian-speaking spies are sent into the rebel groups, posing as regular Lithuanians and passing on information on their activities. All throughout the occupied territories, former military bases, civilian gun stores and outdoor stores are raided for weapons and equipment. This is done to deny the rebels any possible sources of weapons and to arm more Belarusian forces. Our Air Forces begin bombing raids on eastern Polish cities, and our troops in the Baltic States move to counter them by destroying infrastructure needed for them to transport their forces from the coast. We also bomb their landing sites on the Baltic coast and try to cause as much damage as possible.

China restores itself to its pre-Russian Empire borders and continues to advance into Siberia but is halted by the small force coming from the Stans allied with Russia.

The Kalingrad Oblast is secured by the Anti-Russian Coalition again forcing Russia to take defensive actions. But Russia is not willing to give up its chance to rebuild an empire. So, in the beginning of February Russian armies storm the Ukraine via mainland Russia and Crimea.

Poland makes a direct attack against the Belarusian armies present in the Baltic states and surrounding areas.

A Note from Head Mod: Sorry for being so late. I'll try to get algos up as soon as I can (I am currently working on a research paper ;-; so I've been really busy. Please tell me if I forgot to add anything in the news section.

Lithuanian Rebels: We continue pushing against Belarussians along with our Latvian, German and Polish allies. With recent successes number of supporters and public approval of rebels grows and they are basically recognized as part of official Lithuanian army now. More modern weaponry is delivered to the front and we hope to liberate our territories by the end of this year.

China: We seek peace with the Two Swords, it is nearly finalised. We execute ALL the people who was to do with the riot except from children, who will be given different families due to their parents being executed. They're all hung. We continue to trade with America, Western European countries and others for many goods used in daily western life like toys, TVs, technology, clothes and other stuff. We don't sell as much goods because of the war. This makes our economy rich and powerful. We thank everybody whose been to do with the industrial revolution. We build many more factories, roads and railway lines to connect such a massive country. We stop building a huge mega tunnel from Dalian to Yantai, coasting loads of money, due to the war and the need of troops. Construction will be finished by 2021. We would like to buy Hawaii from America for 300 billion dollars. We swear to protect the Republic of Korea. We continue to gain influence over Mongolia. Due to loads of money being spent on them, our nuclear defence system is the best in the world. We build our military, infrastructure and economy but mainly our military. We aid Canada in their Civil War. We also continue to influence all of Africa but mainly East With getting their resources in exchange of guns. We continue a massive invasion of Russian Siberia, pouring thousands of troops across the border. We take advantage of a regoin in chaos. We also protect Mongolia if they invade them. We destroy any Russian resident in our way. We enact the draft and pull soldiers from reserves. This gives us massive strength. All men between 16-40 must join the military. We plan to assassinate the new Russian leader.

The Ukraine and Moldova both quickly fall to the advancing Russian army. Azerbaijan becomes Russia's next target with the Western portion of the country already having fallen to Russia's ally, Armenia.

Despite Belarus' setbacks due to the Lithuanian Rebels, they are able to march into Estonia and pressure the country to join them. Within three hours a third of the population is dead, and a large number is forced to join Belarus as soldiers and workers. Only a small portion of Estonians are able to escape to Scandinavia.

A new ally of Russia emerges: Cuba. Multiple threats are made to the USA and reports of Cuban ships in the Gulf of Mexico begin to surface.

The Federation of the Americas in South America is officially formed.

The Stans who declared their loyalty to Russia are destroyed by Chinese & Canadian forces and left in ruins.

The War in Europe begins to reach a stalemate without anymore major gains from either sides. The only place where the war's presence is well known is Romania.

The Two Swords take complete control of Syria.

Florida & Puerto Rico are attacked by Cuban forces.

Wtf, why can't you allow me to put putin back on power, since he was deliberately killed by the last Russian player, while i also don't get why can't i parachute supplies to my rebels in Siberia with supplies using the Russian air force, when actually any major power could do that.

I suppose I will allow Putin to return since the event was created by a player and not in the official news section (but Putin will be disabled since he nearly died due to the assassination attempt). But the USA and Chinese forces would likely shoot down the Russian ships or confiscate the supplies. You'll need a different way to get supplies to the rebels. Army of the Sword/Aljaysh Alssuyuf: We fight in Syria allying with Islamist factions and begin to fight in Aleppo. We begin to work on uniting Islamist groups under our banner. We begin to work in the Sina by bombing Egyptian troops after the fall of Muhammad Morsi taking in small Islamist factions. In Yemen with the current civil war we begin to work on allying with Ansar al Shria and Al Qaeda, doing the same thing in Libya. We begin to work on setting up cells in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Niger, India and set up cells in Jordan and Mali. We begin to take land in Somalia due to the civil war. We begin to taking in smaller groups but only after checking their group out. We begin a military sweep of Iraq (like ISIS) attacking Iraqi military Sunni majority, mostly seeing Iraqi troops run away (like IRL) sweeping and taking towns. We tell the US to stop bombing us because their not our main enemy. We begin to set up cells in China with goals of gain more supporters. We set up cells in Afghanistan and Pakistan allying with the Taliban and taking small pieces of land (mostly countryside). We begin to set ourselves up as a political party in Sudan. We begin to only bomb Chinese police and military checkpoints and stations.  We begin to work on a peace plan with China. We continue to go on the offense in the Sinai with more car bombings, IED attacks, and ambush on Egyptian forces. We halt our attacks in China for now,and secretly tell them and the US we are willing to work with them with their war against Russia. We upload a new video showing troops in Iraq,Syria,and China in combat. We begin to create Car ID plates (I forgot what they are called) and our own passports,IDs,and paying jobs in the new government. We make Damascus our new capital with our leader being seen in a new video ( Wasim Abu Bakr Saifullah). We tell the US that we are going to stop attacking China under this.

1) China stop all attacks on Muslims and the Army of Sword.

2) Xinjang gain freedom (or at lest some of Xinjang gain freedom) under the banner of the Two Sword.

Baltic Rebels: With support now also coming from the US, Latvian and Estonian rebels are convinced it would be better for them to unite with lithuanians, joint underground forces and administration are established, spy networks are solidified across three states. This unification leads to more effective attacks against Belarus. About three thousand men were assigned to a newly formed unit which, with the most advanced weaponry we have, will act as the elite force and spearhead of operations. We also start establishing a network of spies in Russia, working with opposition and underground liberals. Seeing as quality of life is quickly deteriorating there, we expect our planned sub-unit Ruskaya Svoboda (Russian Freedom) to gain some popularity and start carrying out attacks against Russian military complex. However, for the time being operations are constrained to Baltic States, western Belarus and Minsk.

Russia: General elections happen with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev running for president, with the United Russia party, being successor to Vladimir Putin and a close friend, wins the elections with 69% of the votes, forming a new government. President Dmitry Medvedev announces that Russia will never surrender to the invaders, urging Slavic citizens to defend motherland, trying to convince/mass propagandizing the Slavic citizens of Russia that a lesser future awaits them at USA's and China's hands, who actually want to destroy everything Slavic, cause of their hatred against Slavs, predicting the annihilation of the Slavic race, through genocides, enslavement and occupation of the country, with the big cities like Moscow and St. Petersburg and every other major city being nuked to ashes, if the Russian-Slavic bear was ever to surrender, comparing the USA and China to the Axis and President Trump as the new American Fuhrer and President Xi Jinping as his stupid fascist lackey, urging every Slavic citizen to resist at any cost the invaders. President Dmitry Medvedev takes emergency powers, in order to save Russia from this mess. Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announces that although President Vladimir Putin was thought to be dead, he was actually in a coma the whole time and his death was announced in an effort to stop any new assassination attempts against him. He is still in very bad condition in an undisclosed location, while he changes location every ten days, with 20,000 soldiers guarding him, they are named the presidential guard and they are extremely loyal, with their only duty to protect disabled Putin, who is not planning to play any part in the politics from now on, cause of his age and very bad condition. We enact the draft and pull soldiers from reserves. We enact a major draft with every capable men or women from the ages of 15-30 joining the army, except those who already have jobs at military production industries. Our whole economy, becomes war oriented, we raise taxes, borrow money in the form of war bonds, ban luxury items saying that they will be available on the market again after we win the war, we urge our citizens/propagandize to use their extra money on buying Russian war bonds, while mass propagandizing that they will be rich after the war and they would be able to buy any luxury items they want need after the war, further helping our efforts to win the war, commercial institutions like banks are urged by Dmitry Medvedev and the Gov to buying war bonds, further helping our efforts to win the war, while we also do create a War Productions Committee (WPC), awaring defense contracts, allocated scarce resources – such as rubber, copper and oil – for military uses, and persuading businesses to convert to military production. We start constructing a huge defensive fortifications along the Ural mountains, hoping to halt the Chinese and USA armies there, while we say to every Russian citizen that we haven't given up on them and this is only a last resort should the Anti-Russian coalition reach the European Russia. Russian citizens in occupied lands are being encouraged to revolt against the emenies of Russia, that illegally occupy Russian lands, are supported with military supplies, equipment and the help of military advisors and we also allow them to use our nations infrastructure, such as railroads, ports in an attempt to liberate Russia from its warmongering invaders. A massive invasion against Azerbaijan and Romania is launched in an attempt to secure the resources (oil,gas) needed to continue the war efforts, since Siberia is under attack and this could potentially lead to a lack of supplies needed for the war effort. Due to the war envolving into a new world war and our conversion of our economy to a total war oriented economy, our Russian army's size is around 20 million soldiers, including reserves and keep increasing. The total size of the combined forces of Russia and its subordinates is around 27.875 million soldiers, including reserves. We produce more Kalashnikov AK-12 and A-545 assult rifles, Kord-12.7 mm heavy machine guns,PKP "Pecheneg" light machine guns, MP-443 Grach semi-automatic pistols, OSV-96 heavy semi-automatic anti-materiel sniper rifles, SV-98 bolt-action sniper rifles, Kornet-D antitank missile systems, T-14 Armata main battle tanks, T-15 Armata infantry fighting vehicles, Kurganets-25 tracked platforms, 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV self-propelled guns, 50R6 Vityaz middle-range surface-to-air missile systems, Kamov Ka-50 "Black Shark" single-seat attack helicopters, Mil Mi-28 all-weather, day-night, military tandem, two-seat anti-armor attack helicopters, Kamov Ka-60 Transport/utility helicopters, Mikoyan MiG-35 4++ generation jet fighters, PAK FAT-50 fifth-generation fighters, Sukhoi Su-34 Fighter-bomber/strike fighters and aviation thermobaric bombs of increased power,nicknamed "Father of All Bombs" and supply our army with them to aid the war effort. Due to having millions of stockpiled AK-74 models and other old Soviet equipment, we began making drops of this equipement, to Sieberian and Kaliningrad Russian rebels, and the rest are distributed to any ethnic Russian citizen in Russia, in order to make sure that even if we got defeated and occupied ressistance won't stop against the invaders, expecting this to result in huge casualties for the Anti-Russian coalition forces. We begin implementing scorched earth policy of destroying the infrastructure, transporting the industry and food supplies to European Russia, in parts of Siberia before the Anti-Russian coalition armies could seize them, and that partisans are set up in evacuated areas, while many women and all children under the age of 12 are helped to evacute areas that are going to fall to the Anti-Russian coalition, as the army in Siberia fights on and slowly retreats. We focus on attacking Azerbaijan, hitting it as hard as we can, with more than one million troops launching a new offensive against Baku. The plans about huge defensive fortifications along the Ural mountains, are revised and somewhat improved, while the construction continues, with new improved plans aiming at making an impenetrable line, expecting a total halt of the USA and Chinese armies, while the now neutral Kazakhstan now faces are serious danger, of being invaded in order to flank the Russian armies, with the Russian gov sending an ultimatum to Kazakhstan either to allow us military access and constructing fortifications along the Ural Mountains,the Mugodzhar Hills and into the Caspian Sea in Kazakhstan, descreasing their threat of been attacked by the USA-Chinese alliance, due to us having already secured this flank or to simply give us the Aktobe Region, the West Kazakhstan Region, the Atyrau Region and the Mangystau Region, completely removing any reason for the USA-Chinese alliance to attack them. Belarus: Following our Slavic ally's lead, President Aleksandr Lukashenko declares total war and takes emergency measures to defend the motherland from the enemy invasion. We begin a war economy, with priorities being given to military production and increasing work days to maximize the output. We construct more T-80 and T-90 tanks, BMP infantry fighting vehicles, and Su-27 fighters. Additionally, more rifles, pistols, and other weapons are constructed. All men aged 15 to 60 are given what weapons we have and are told to prepare to fight in the defense of their homeland. In the Baltic states, similar measures are implemented to take advantage of what industry they have. To encourage support of the populace, the states are given independence in the form of Belarusian client states, with the creation of the Reformed Government of the Republic of Lithuania, Reformed Government of the Republic of Latvia, and Reformed Government of the Republic of Estonia. The three regimes are formed with local collaborators with the intent of utilizing the nations' capacities for the war effort. The Belarusian Ground Forces and Air Force continue operations against the partisans by bombarding the areas that are known to have rebel hideouts with artillery and airstrikes, leaving most of the rebels in those areas dead. Infantry sweeps follow up the bombardment, going through and killing any dazed survivors. In the cities, police forces use native informers to find rebel agents and execute them. Railways and other infrastructure are protected by a few Belarusian units, but mainly with collaborationist formations. Meanwhile, in eastern Lithuania and Belarus, our forces continue to resist the Polish attacks, using superior knowledge of terrain, airpower, and artillery to stop their advance and offset their numbers advantage. You mean fourth largest amount, cause having converted to war economy i spend like 60- 80% of the GPD on the military budget, meaning i surpass all of you in military spending, also doubling minimum wages is gonna create a huge deficit and inflation no matter what you do as a counter-action, reducing government subsides for the poor and unemployed, doesn't really helps you avoid that, while i also have more GDP than you or really close to you due to annexing Ukraine and Georgia and Moldavia. ~Wrto12
